Join me in my efforts to support Lupus Hawaii!

Although I try to live my life as normally as possible, those of you who are close to me know that I have been living with Lupus for more than 12 years. Although outwardly, I may look normal, Lupus has took a toll on my health. The biggest affect it has had is on my kidneys - I have been living with kidney failure and going to dialysis three times a week for almost 5 years. I am close to having a transplant though and if I am not at the walk on Saturday, then I most likely was called in by the Transplant Team! - that's the only thing that would keep me from walking!

Thank you for everyone who generously donated to Lupus Hawaii and thank you to those of you who are registered to walk! I really have a Team this year!!! Your support is very much appreciated and it definately means a lot. See you on Saturday!
